Service Installation Rules

CitiPower and Powercor comply with the Victorian Service and Installation Rules, which are set by the Victorian Service Installation Rules Management Committee.

These rules provide industry-wide standards to help distributors and other service providers comply with regulatory obligations.

Service Installation Rules are available in hard copy from Information Victoria, on 1300 366 356. They are also available from electrical contractor and inspection organisations, and from most electrical wholesalers.

CitiPower and Powercor suppliers and contractors must observe the requirements we have developed for interval meter installations, in conjunction with the Victorian Service and Installation rules. SIR Drawings for Interval Meters specific to our distribution areas are provided below
